Plant Cultivation Lead

📍 Location: Worcester, MA
💲 Pay: $21.00-$22.00/hour DOE

Job Summary

Join our team as a Plant Cultivation Lead, where you’ll play a key role in nurturing plant health while guiding and supporting a dedicated cultivation crew. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys leadership, precision, and working in a dynamic grow environment. You’ll help ensure our plants—and our team—are consistently performing at their best, all while upholding the company’s Standards of Conduct & Discipline.


What You’ll Do

As a Plant Cultivation Lead, you will:

  • Monitor plant health, vitality, and overall appearance to ensure optimal growth
  • Oversee proper watering, pruning, and day-to-day plant care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace and equipment
  • Sanitize grow areas and assist in setting up new cultivation rooms
  • Lead, coach, and support team members to meet company standards
  • Assign tasks, answer questions, and guide both new and existing team members
  • Communicate daily operations through spreadsheets, email, and team coordination
  • Partner with management on scheduling, performance feedback, and team development
  • Support Research & Development projects as assigned
  • Step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 months of plant or agriculture-related experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, email, etc.) preferred

Physical Requirements

This role is active and hands-on. You should be comfortable with:

  • Standing or sitting for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Walking, reaching, bending, and working in a cultivation environment
  • Working with strong attention to detail, including color differentiation
