Hospice Nurse Practitioner, Per Diem weekdays, 128 South area:

Watertown, Newton, Dedham, Braintree, Quincy, Weymouth, Norwell

Position Summary: Provides consultation regarding palliative care services to patients in a community setting and works in a collaborative team practice that recognizes the patient as the central focus. Performs physical assessments and communicates with patients facing serious complex illnesses.

Rate: $75.00 per hour

Education

  • Master�s of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Certification in area of specialty required.
  • Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
  • Current DEA and Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask and work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple demands.
