Responsibilities
- Maintain all facility equipment in proper and safe operating condition in order to minimize downtime for operations
- Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment systems
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on all commercial size building equipment
- Performs repairs and modifications to facility electrical and lighting systems
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance to HVAC system including guest rooms, office and rooftop units
- Utilizes Parts Manuals and CMMS software to identify and locate required parts
- Interior finish work and repairs including painting and drywall
- Performs repairs to plumbing systems including commercial restroom fixtures
- Maintaining multiple pools
- General building and grounds maintenance
- Snow removal and operate snow plow
- General housekeeping, work space tidiness
- Able to work in all outdoor elements
- Able to work independently and efficiently within a timely manner
- Capable of problem solving
- Previous experience or ability to be trained in the following areas: basic knowledge and experience of building and construction concepts, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, equipment operations management, fire suppression systems, and aquatic mechanical equipment knowledge.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasional basis; and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
- An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
