Job Description

Job Summary

The Golf Food & Beverage Cart/Cashier position requires excellent customer service, good communication skills, and prefers applicants with knowledge of Virginia ABC Laws. Duties include serving drinks to golf course patrons and cash handling. Must have good math skills, be at least 21, and have a valid Virginia driver’s license.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good math skills

Preferred

Knowledge of VA ABC laws 

Typical Schedule

Days:

Days rotate on a set schedule

  • Weekends are a requirement 

Hours:

Set Hours Required: 25

  • Including evenings, weekends, and holidays 

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service when acknowledging and greeting each group of owners/guests on the golf course
  • Adhere to VA ABC Laws when conducting business on the golf courses of Massanutten Resort
  • Provide a professional demeanor at all times on the golf course
  • Maintain Food & Beverage inventory on the golf course
  • Complete POS transactions with customers on the golf course
  • Complete closing out procedures of the beverage cart with direct supervision from the Golf Course Supervisor at the end of each shift
  • Maintain a neat and orderly appearance on the beverage cart at all times
  • Inform Golf Shop Supervisor of any problems or complaints from customers as soon as possible
  • Other duties as assigned by management
