SUMMARY



Assembly workers prepare and position parts for assembly, ensure each component is fastened together correctly, check connections and log any discrepancies. They read measurements, verify specifications, measure completed components and assemble parts to approved specifications.



 



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



Include, but are not limited to the following:




  • Interpret and follow blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications.

  • Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic equipment.

  • Install rails, doors, and route hoses, fittings, and valves as per hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify quality and specification compliance.

  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces while adhering to safety and PPE standards.

  • Log discrepancies, report defective parts, and contribute to root-cause analysis when necessary.

  • Assist with packaging and staging of assembled components for distribution or final integration.

  • Participate in continuous improvement, cross-training, and company-provided technical training.

  • All other duties as assigned.
