About the Role
We are currently looking for an Animal Care Specialist to join our Housing Team. Reporting to the Animal Care Supervisor, the successful candidate must have a good knowledge of livestock care and be physically capable of handling large bulls. Hay, silage and manure handling are part of the regular job duties.
What You Will Do:
- Semen Collection
- Feeding and caring for bulls
- Operating farm equipment
- Seasonal crop work
- Mechanical and manual barn cleaning
What You Need to Succeed:
- Ability and experience operating farm equipment; solid mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- A high school diploma
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong agricultural experience, including handling and caring for livestock

Work Location and Minimum Pay Rate:
This is an in-person, part time role working alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on the afternoon shift (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m), on a 12 month contract. This position offers a minimum starting hourly wage of $21.00 with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.
