Ansell is looking for a Senior Manager, Project Manager – GRIP to join our team in Brussels, Belgium or Cracow, Poland.
Project Grip is responsible to step up our service from our supply network (from manufacturing to our warehouses and direct customers). It is a Program of workstreams generated from deep root cause analysis with the remit to develop & execute permanent structural solutions. This will be done by designing and executing our connected ‘step up’ end-to-end Supply Plan process and tools/systems. This is a multi-phase and multi-year project of which the first phase is already funded.
The Senior Manager, Project Manager acts as the central orchestrator, leading and coordinating the efforts of project teams, Business Owners, internal stakeholders, and third‑party service providers. The role is accountable for maintaining project integrity, managing complex dependencies across projects, and driving quality control throughout the entire program lifecycle. The role is responsible to frame decisions and trade off’s through the governance structure of Monthly & Steercom reviews.
A strong focus on strategic communication, program‑level risk mitigation, and delivery of tangible business value is essential.
The role is responsible to co-ordinate the overall Budget ensuring that the workstreams spend against the approved budgets.
In addition, the role:
· Supports individual workstreams in executing their plan as needed – from creating process designs to implementing changes.
o There is a significant opportunity to contribute to the Change Management workstream.
· Owns development of the 3rd phase of funding
· Leads the overall Supply Plan Process, KPI & RACI consolidation
· Leads the connectivity of the Grip scope into the Upstream & downstream functions ensuring that the symmetrical improvements are also designed and executed in those functions
In addition the lead leads the following workstreams:
· End – end Inventory Balancing
· Shipment Flow / Smoothing
· Evolution of our service models to truly deliver our Customers evolving needs

What your role will be?
Program Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with the Business Owner to define program scope, objectives, and benefits realization strategy
- Identify, document, and actively manage complex inter‑project dependencies
- Establish and manage the integrated program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Ensure optimal resource allocation across projects within a matrixed environment
Execution, Monitoring & Control
- Track program performance against baseline (schedule, budget, scope)
- Lead program‑level risk and issue management
- Enforce PMO methodologies and quality standards
- Manage vendors, contracts, and third‑party deliverables
- Drive continuous improvement and execution efficiency
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Own and execute program communication plans, including executive‑level reporting
- Manage complex global stakeholder relationships (IT, Finance, Operations, Business)
- Escalate risks and issues to senior leadership and Steering Committees
- Maintain high‑quality program documentation and lessons learned
Workstream Content Generation & Delivery
- Define structural solutions and lead implementation for the workstreams and areas listed
What will you bring to Ansell?
Professional Background & Experience
- Strong professional experience gained within operational or functional environments, ideally across supply chain in areas such as demand & supply planning, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, customer service and IBP. With experience in at least 2 or more of these required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage initiatives while being close to business operations, understanding real execution constraints, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
- Proven experience translating business and operational needs into structured programs, roadmaps, and deliverables.
- Minimum of 5-7+ years of progressive experience, with a track record of leading complex, multi‑stream initiatives of significant scope and scale (>$1M budgets).
Program & Project Leadership
- Experience coordinating multiple interdependent workstreams and stakeholders within complex, global environments.
- Strong application of structured project and program management practices to support delivery, governance, and benefits realization.
- Ability to manage risk, dependencies, and resources across matrixed, cross‑functional teams.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- PMP or PgMP certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
- Advanced degree (MBA) or certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP or Six Sigma/Lean are an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required.
Tools & Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of project and delivery tools such as MS Project, Excel, Visio.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable information in Power Point & decision papers.
- Strong influencing, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking capabilities, with a pragmatic, business‑oriented mindset.
- Deep curiosity into the ‘art of the possible’ and ability to inspire others on the vision of the project.
- Real passion for next level Customer Service with a Customer service orientation in empowering the workstreams to deliver.
- Ability to partner with the various workstreams to understand their diagnosis and vision and connect that across the workstreams to amplify the reach & impact of the Program result.
