Work Description:
- Implement best-in-class manufacturing processes and develop long-term strategies to best utilize MVP in-house machining, fabricating, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Manage end to end supply chain to ensure timely delivery of materials through finished goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, improve product quality, and reduce cost.
- Collaborate with the executive team to set company goals and objectives and develop plans to achieve them.
- Lead and manage a team of directors, managers, and supervisors in production, logistics, engineering, and quality control.
- Develop and manage budgets for operations, ensuring financial performance targets are met.
- Collaborate with Product Development team to commercialize new products and ensure a successful launch.
- Develop and drive key performance indicators and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for company goals.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of broad operations leadership experience, preferably in equipment manufacturing or an industrial environment
- Experience transforming manufacturing organization from traditional manufacturing to fast paced lean manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of managers and supervisors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, policies, and standards in the areas of manufacturing, logistics, and quality control
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Other physical activity may include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands and fingers
