Responsibilities:

1. Adheres to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

2. Serves as an effective representative of Coryell Health to patients, families, and visitors in a courteous, respectful, and empathic manner.

3. Demonstrates a cooperative attitude in relationships with co-workers and other Coryell Health personnel.

4. Performs according to the quality assurance and quantity expectations as defined by Coryell Health and the department.

5. Participates in maintaining a safe/secure environment for patients, visitors, co-workers, and self.

6. Respects individual’s rights to privacy and maintains confidentiality in matters relating to patients, personnel, and Coryell Health operations.

7. Uses all facilities, supplies, and equipment pertaining to Coryell Health with due care and in a cost-effective manner.

8. Demonstrates awareness of fire and safety policies.

9. Adheres to infection control and body substance isolation policies.

10. Attends staff development programs to augment skills and promote professional personal growth.

11. Reports to work in a timely manner as per facility hours of operation and established individual work schedules.

12. Maintains and demonstrates a professional attitude and demeanor as a representative of Coryell Health in all interactions with co-workers, patients, referral sources and other clientele of the companies.

13. Employee contributes to the fulfillment of Coryell Health’s mission of corporate compliance by demonstrating, consistent adherence to the Standards (Codes) of Conduct and Compliance Plan policies and procedures.

Requirements

1. Nursing Degree (RN)

2. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse with 6 months in the nursing care of an ESRD patient.

3. Current RN license for state of practice.

4. Current CPR certification.
