POSITION SUMMARY: General maintenance and repairs on University Residence Halls
May 2026 through August 2026

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

        40 hours per week Monday - Friday (some part time positions are available)

• Replace lights/light bulbs
• Unplug drains and commodes
• Repair drawers
• Repair doors and walls
• Fix blinds
• Replace HVAC filters
• Repair windows
• Replace ceiling tiles
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or Bob Jones Academy
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Ability to learn new skills
• Must (occasionally) lift/carry up to 100 lbs. and push/pull up to 25 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years of age
