Job Description

Vice President, Global Operations 

The Vice President of Global Operations leads operations across 35 global regional offices, driving strong performance, operational consistency, and outstanding traveler experiences. With a clear focus on traveler experience excellence, this role leverages data, feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve satisfaction, loyalty, and outcomes. The VP is accountable for consistent performance across all regions and partners closely with senior leadership to turn organizational priorities into effective execution.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership 

  • Own and execute the regional operations strategy across 35 offices in alignment with company objectives 
  • Identify and communicate risks and growth opportunities to executive leadership 
  • Coordinate regional operating frameworks to advance objectives and ensure travelers receive a consistent excellent experience 
  • Lead long-term planning for capacity, infrastructure, and geographic expansion 
  • Provide clear, concise reporting to executive leadership and the board as needed 
  • Act as the bridge between corporate strategy and regional execution 

            Operational Execution 

            • Ensure delivery of operational standards, policies, and best practices across all regions 
            • Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance benchmarks, driving accountability at the regional level 
            • Identify and lead worldwide initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes 
            • Oversee budget planning, cost management, and financial performance for regional operations 

                  People & Leadership Development 

                  • Lead and develop senior regional leaders; build a strong leadership pipeline across the organization 
                  • Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven culture across global teams 
                  • Establish workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design to support long-term growth and organizational needs 

                      Cross-Functional Partnership 

                      • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, HR, Technology, Legal, and other corporate functions to support regional execution 
                      • Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and adherence to company policies across all offices 
                      • Lead change management efforts tied to key company initiatives  

                          QUALIFICATIONS

                          • 12–15+ years of leadership experience in operations, including multi-site or global/regional oversight 
                          • Proven experience leading large, worldwide organizations (30+ locations strongly preferred) 
                          • Strong financial knowledge with experience of managing budgets and P&L responsibility 
                          • Demonstrated success driving operational transformation and scale 
                          • Ability to travel significantly both to the Boston-MA area and Internationally to regional offices.
