Job Description:

The ideal candidate for the Occupational Therapist (OT) role is a caring and compassionate individual that is dedicated to making a positive impact on their patients. 

Responsibilities:

• Helping their patients learn or relearn BADLs and / or IADLs that are necessary for healthy and meaningful day to day living.
• Assessing the need for and recommending potential home modifications and safety equipment to reduce barriers and promote safe functioning upon discharge
• Teaching functional mobility from different surfaces, such as a bed, chair, toilet and shower in order to perform self-care and personal tasks with less difficulty
• Conduct evaluations and design patient centered POCs
• Supervising Occupational Therapist Assistants and all relevant documentation

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid OT license in the state of practice
