Part-Time Mental Health Therapist (Intensive In-Home) 

$39–$42/hr | Part-time | In-person (home + community-based)

 

Hina Mauka Teen CARE is hiring part-time Mental Health Therapists to provide intensive, home-based therapy for youth and families involved with CAMHD. Through hands-on, community-based clinical work, you’ll be supporting stabilization and building practical skills that improve functioning at home, school, and in the community.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide individual and family therapy in home and community settings
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide stabilization support
  • Complete clinical assessments and ongoing risk screening
  • Collaboratively develop and update Mental Health Treatment Plans
  • Provide psychoeducation and skill-building (coping skills, behavior management, communication, etc.)
  • Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries

  
 Required qualifications:

  • Hawaiʻi LSW, OR
  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field + 1-year supervised youth behavioral health experience, OR
  • Hawaiʻi-licensed LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC (QMHP-eligible)

 

Also required: Must be comfortable providing services in families’ homes and community settings. Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle for community travel and possible youth transport, auto insurance, ability to pass background check and clearances, and availability for flexible hours (afternoons/evenings are common).
