Job Description

The candidate will be a member of a highly skilled and motivated engineering team and will be encouraged to take on the responsibility of a broad range of tasks. You will be responsible for transforming concepts into actual parts of the system, and testing the developed module, the system integration and verifying if requirements are met.

Responsibilities

•    Supports creating new modules from architectural point of view
•    Verifies if the concepts met the requirements
•    Delivers a complete and complex framework, system or product
•    Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility
•    Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes
•    Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems
•    Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives
•    Monitors the module performance related to the complete system, works closely with Electrical Engineering and Software teams to achieve the target
•    Creates the installation manuals of the module and supports issue troubleshooting for new installation
•    Support on tasks as:
o    part failure analysis & generate report.
o    machine setup and system level testing.
o    cost reduction module & new R&D project module testing.
 

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience requirements
•    Above 5 years of experience in R&D or Product Engineering, Semiconductor equipment experience preferred
•    Experience with mechanical and mathematical modeling tools (Visual Basic, MS Excel, MATLAB, Python, Mathcad)
•    Hands-on experience – test set-up, troubleshooting, design of experiments, lab equipment, etc. (for example using test equipment such as laser displacement, thermal sensor, accelerometers)
•    Experience working with vendors and sub-contractors
•    Experience with solid modeling CAD +P4software is preferred
Education Requirements
•    Master or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
Other requirements
•    Good written and verbal communication, interpretation and interpersonal skills 
•    Flexible to changes in tasks and work environment 
•    Must be organized, systematic, punctual, and goal-oriented 
•    Strong leadership skill with ability to work with cross functional teams 
•    Willing to travel on a need basis
