About InVia Fertility Specialists

At InVia Fertility Specialists, we pride ourselves on providing state-of-the-art fertility care in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Our compassionate, highly trained staff understand the emotional and physical journey of fertility treatment, and we strive to ensure every patient feels comfortable, respected, and empowered. Our goal is to help each patient achieve a timely and successful pregnancy.

The Role

InVia Fertility Specialists is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer to join our clinical team full-time (30+ hours per week). This role plays a critical part in the patient experience by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate care throughout the fertility process. You will rotate across our three Chicagoland locations, working alongside a collaborative team of fertility specialists. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in every interaction.

What You'll Do

You’ll be an integral part of day-to-day patient care, supporting our clinical team across all phases of the fertility process:

  • Perform pregnancy, pelvic, baseline, and follicular ultrasounds

  • Accurately record and maintain ultrasound data and related documentation

  • Explain procedures such as cyst aspirations and hysterosonograms and obtain informed consent

  • Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with OSHA standards

  • Prepare rooms and equipment for all sonographic procedures

  • Perform phlebotomy and assist with specimen collection — training provided for those new to this skill

  • Support the clinical team with additional tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited ultrasound program

  • Women’s health or fertility experience strongly preferred

  • Phlebotomy experience preferred; training provided

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification preferred

  • ARRT Certification preferred

  • Ability to work across multiple clinic locations in the Chicagoland area

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset

Schedule

This is a full-time position of 30+ hours per week, rotating equally across our Northbrook, Arlington Heights, and Hoffman Estates locations. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with morning hours generally from 6:00 AM–10:00 AM and two afternoons per week extending to approximately 4:00 PM, based on patient load. Weekend rotation is approximately once per month on Saturday for a half-day (6:00 AM–10:00 AM). We are open to part-time candidates as well.

What We Offer

Competitive compensation of $28–$35/hr and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Paid time off

  • 401(k) retirement plan

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
