Requirements

Qualifications And Experience:

·         Highschool or GED required.

·         Previous management experience preferred.

·         Industrial mechanical / electrical experience preferred.

·         Knowledge of PLC’s preferred

·         Knowledge of industrial motor controls preferred.

·         Strong planning & problem-solving skills required.

·         Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Basic computer skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook)

·         Heavy equipment operator preferred.

·         Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

·         Welding & fabrication skills Preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Job requires wearing personal protective gear, such as protective eyewear, gloves, hearing protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots.
• Exposed to noisy environment when using various machines. Job requires working for extended periods of time in a standing position while using machines.
• Requires bending, stooping, and climbing.
• The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Numerical intelligence is a requirement in reading and using tape measures and blueprints.
• Exposed to dust, fumes, heavy moving equipment, loud noises, and all-weather elements.
• Must be able to walk considerable distances around the facility throughout the day.
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs frequently.

Summary

Oversees Maintenance electricians, mechanics & utility personnel. Organizes and distributes job requests and assignments. Approves workorders and monitors progress through MaintainX. Assists Maintenance supervisor and manager with daily operations.  Assists maintenance team with job assignments, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, equipment and electrical repair, and maintenance related facility issues.
