Purpose and Scope
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leadership and direction of IT projects in providing planning, prioritization and coordination for technology-related project initiatives, production support, data management, reporting and optimal operations for all IT systems. This project management role also provides oversight for the IT partners involved in the IT related projects. This role will ensure resource allocation and prioritization in achieving the project objectives and schedules. This role will also be responsible for converting business requirements into technical requirements for our development team or partners. The IT Project Manager also works closely with the IT Director and IT Senior Management to adhere to the technology strategy and direction for all IT projects that is managed by this role.
Essential Job Functions
· Provide project management, direction, and supervision for IT Team members through processes, planning, coordination, implementation, and maintenance for IT projects.
· Consult and coordinate with the IT Management as well as other areas of TGI for requirement definition of business systems, processes, requests, requirements, specifications, approach, prioritization, and implementation, directed at the IT projects.
· Provide strategy, scope, design, analysis and direction for the assigned IT Projects including existing system enhancements, new process / systems development, web-based initiatives, systems conversions, and other technology related efforts requiring project and/or analytical efforts.
· Provide support and direction for successful use of TeamWork Project Management Platform.
· Coordinate with IT Team regarding Project Plans, Issue Lists, Change Requests, status, and other key documentation for any assigned IT project as required.
· Provide time and resource estimates for project and production requests, coordinating with other Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other IT Team members as required.
· Direct and coordinate testing efforts as required which may include unit testing, load testing, end-to-end testing, and validation.
· Analyze and resolve issues associated with standard operating procedures, workflow, and/or processes as required for defining requirements or specifications for the assigned IT project.
Strategy & Planning
· Participate in Strategic planning, tactical definition, prioritization and goal setting.
· Provide scope, design, and direction for the assigned IT Project aligned with TGI strategies and goals.
· Define and continually manage project and production expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
· Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
· Track project milestones and deliverables.
· Determine frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
· Define project success criteria and disseminate results to applicable owners and stakeholders throughout project life cycle.
· Conduct project post-mortems and develop recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
· Develop best practices and tools for project initiatives and management.
· Participate in daily morning staff devotions; on a rotating basis serve by praying and reading Scripture in support of devotion leader.
Working Relationships
Reports To: IT Director
People Management Responsibility: Responsible for project managing the internal IT resources associated with IT assigned projects as well as Contract resources..
Works Closely With: Application Developers, Contractors, Project Managers, Network Administrator, TGI Departments, other vendors and contractors as required.

Work Environment and Time Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Information Technology and relevant Business-related work experience.
- Extensive Analytical and Project–related experience directed at enterprise level projects.
- Extensive practical large-scale enterprise experience in production management for key systems and processes for ERP systems.
- Proven experience with data analysis, business requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and project modeling.
- Capability to provide leadership and direction for complex projects and assignments, excellent written skills, positive attitude and initiative, high degree of analytical and interpersonal skills, and a teamwork approach.
- Additional experience should include an articulate understanding and success in applying technology efforts to achieve business objectives and TGI goals.
- Proficient at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Successful completion of a drug and background screen.
