We are seeking a Production Supervisors II to join our team in Costa Rica to support Catheter’s production on a shift B (L-S).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Lead daily operations and workforce activities to ensure production efficiency, effectiveness, and proper training.
- Manage performance, including coaching, development, and performance reviews.
- Own full people leadership responsibilities, including hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Execute production plans by setting priorities, allocating resources, monitoring performance, and resolving operational issues.
- Maintain quality, safety, and operational standards across the production environment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and participate in Lean Manufacturing activities.
- Drive corrective action implementation from audits and operational findings.
Leadership scope:
Provides direct leadership through motivation, direction, coaching, performance review, and feedback to assigned teams.

- Production Associate I, II, III
- Manufacturing Leads
- Production Clerks
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
- Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
- Proficient PC skills, including email, record keeping, routine database activities, word processing, spreadsheets, and basic data reporting/graphics.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership of self-directed teams with proven people management capabilities.
- Ability to audit operations, identify non-compliance, and drive corrective action plans.
- Solid knowledge of labor relations, labor law, manufacturing methods, production planning, and assembly operations.
- Strong understanding of production and quality systems, including JIT, CFM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities in dynamic, low-standardization environments.
- Ability to interpret and execute technical, procedural, and operational instructions in multiple formats.
