    Benton Central Athletic Trainer

    Job Description

     

    The High School Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive athletic training services to student-athletes. This includes injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and education. The trainer will work closely with coaches, school staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure the health and safety of all athletes.

     

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field; Master's preferred.
    • Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
    • State licensure or registration, as required.
    • Strong knowledge of athletic injuries, treatment protocols, and rehabilitation techniques.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Terms of Employment: 230 days.  Salary and benefits will be based on teacher schedules and contracts as well as benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, vision coverage, and retirement plans.
