Position Overview 

The Senior Human Resources Manager is an HR leadership role based at EcoWater’s Eagan headquarters, serving as the primary day‑to‑day HR leader and business partner for the headquarters organization. This role provides hands‑on HR leadership while partnering closely with business leaders, site HR teams, and Marmon Water and enterprise HR functions. 

With payroll, benefits administration, and core HR systems supported through centralized Marmon shared services, this role focuses on local HR execution, employee relations, leader support, and organizational effectiveness. The Senior Human Resources Manager provides a full range of HR support including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits partnership, performance management, organizational development, and training and development, ensuring enterprise standards are applied in a practical, business‑ready way. 

This role partners closely with the Sr. Director of Human Resources and Sr. HR Manager in Mississippi and serves as a key escalation point for employee relations matters, leadership coaching, and complex people decisions. 

Overall Responsibilities 

1. Human Resources Leadership & Employee Relations 

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for headquarters employee relations, including performance management, corrective action, investigations, and conflict resolution. 

  • Act as a point of escalation for people issues, applying sound judgment, consistency, and risk awareness. 

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and EcoWater and Marmon HR policies. 

  • Partner with legal, employee relations, and labor resources as needed to manage risk and resolve issues appropriately. 

  • Oversee and support core HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employee lifecycle events, coordinating with centralized shared services as appropriate. 

2. Business Partnership & Leader Enablement 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on performance, talent, and organizational effectiveness. 

  • Support leaders through organizational change and integration efforts.

  • Provide practical HR guidance that enables leaders to act with confidence and accountability. 

3. Talent & Organizational Capability 

  • Partner with leaders to define capability needs and hiring plans aligned with business strategy. 

  • Lead recruitment and selection for salaried and leadership roles, ensuring disciplined, consistent hiring practices. 

  • Strengthen hiring manager capability through structured selection approaches and clear role expectations. 

  • Identify and develop high‑potential and critical‑skill talent. 

  • Support succession planning through actionable development plans and real‑world development experiences. 

  • Improve hiring quality, bench strength, and retention in critical roles. 

4. Employee Experience & Engagement 

  • Lead employee engagement efforts at headquarters, including survey action planning and leader accountability. 

  • Own and coordinate people‑related communications such as newsletters, town halls, and leadership messaging. 

  • Partner with HR and business leadership and to ensure communications are clear, timely, and aligned. 

  • Support culture, connection, and employee trust through consistent messaging and follow‑through. 

5. Enterprise & HR Function Leadership

  • Translate Marmon HR standards, policies, and initiatives into effective, streamlined execution at EcoWater. 

  • Partner with Marmon Water and HR Centers of Excellence (Learning, HRIS, Payroll) to leverage shared capabilities with clear local ownership. 

  • Identify and implement HR process and operating model improvements that enhance leader effectiveness and employee experience. 

Qualifications & Experience 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. 

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Manager and/or HR Business Partner roles. 

  • Demonstrated experience providing hands‑on HR support across employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation support, and employee development. 

  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. 

  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex employee situations with sound judgment, discretion, and credibility. 

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to partner with, influence, and appropriately challenge leaders. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. 

Preferred 

  • Experience in a multi‑site manufacturing or industrial environment. 

  • Experience supporting organizational change, integration, or transformation initiatives. 

  • Experience with Workday highly preferred.

Working Conditions 

Hours of work will generally align with regular business hours but may vary based on employee issues, business needs, or special projects. Limited travel may be required and can be self‑directed. 

Pay Range:

100,000.00 - 150,000.00
