    Simsbury Public Schools is accepting applications for Special Education Paraeduators to work part-time commencing with the 2025-26 school year.   This posting is to attract a pool of candidates for our elementary schools for people who love to work with children and would like to work the school calendar.  Positions can range in hours up to 19.5 hours per week. Experience is a plus - but not required. Paraeducator requirements are:
    • Earned a secondary school diploma, or its equivalent.
    • Must have completed 2 years of study at an institution of higher education, OR Earned an Associate’s Degree (or higher), OR Achieve at least a score of 457 on the ETS ParaPro Assessment to:
      Demonstrate knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing in:
      • Reading, writing, and mathematics;
      • Reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness
