Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Systems Administrator / Cloud Engineer to lead the design, administration, and optimization of our Microsoft Azure tenant. This role will play a critical part in managing our cloud infrastructure, supporting Windows-based systems, and contributing to the organization’s cybersecurity framework.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in Azure environments, strong system administration skills, and a proactive approach to security and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain various Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, Teams, Exchange Online, Office 365, VNet Management, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Azure Storage.


• Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS virtual machines and Azure Application and Networking Services to support the organization’s goal to migrate to the cloud


• Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, tagging, reserved instances, etc.)


• Support the Development Team in transitioning their solutions to the Azure environment


• Support and design App Gateway’s, Azure Front Door, App Services, storage accounts, Defender for Cloud, Azure APIM, managing billing costs, Cato SDWAN in Azure, Log Analytics, App Proxy, Entra Enterprise Applications.


• Integration of SSO using Entra as the IDP with various platforms.


• Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and document IT projects


• Research products and new technologies and stay abreast of emerging technologies and opportunities that will improve the organization.


• Provide advance management of the On-Prem server environment.


• Be an escalation point and provide mentorship for other team members
