Requirements Summary:High school diploma or GED; completion of a dental assisting program or minimum 6 months of experience; certification in Dental Radiology; CPR certification; Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred; ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Pay Rate $23 per hour!

PT 1 day per week at Edinburgh Correctional Facility

FT 1 day per week at Edinburgh Correctional Facility + 3 days per week at Indiana Women's Prison

We are currently seeking a part-time or full-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Edinburgh Correctional Facility located in Edinburgh, Indiana and Indiana Women's Prison in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

Essential Duties:

•   Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments

•   Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory

•   Operating radiographic equipment

•   Administrative tasks as needed
