Job Description

TITLE: Laundry Supervisor

CLASSIFICATION: Part-time/Full-time, non-exempt

DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping Department

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

COMPENSATION: $24.00-$25.00

Position Summary: CSG is looking for a dynamic The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring all linens, uniforms, and guest items are cleaned, pressed, and delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role involves supervising laundry staff, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements of the Laundry Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of laundry team members to ensure productivity and quality goals are met.
• Inspect linens and uniforms for cleanliness and wear, ensuring that stained or damaged items are replaced or rewashed.
• Train, coach, and motivate laundry attendants on proper procedures, safety standards, and productivity expectations.
• Schedule staff and manage daily workloads to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including inventory, usage reports, and maintenance logs.
• Monitor laundry chemicals, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and requesting replacements as needed.
• Ensure laundry area and equipment are clean, organized, and in good working condition at all times.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding linen needs, repairs, and scheduling.
• Assist in other housekeeping duties as needed or assigned by management.

Knowledge/Critical Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Must have at least one (1) year experience as a Hotel Laundry Attendant
• Use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Knowledge and ability to use standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment utilized in the cleaning industry
• High School Diploma (preferred)
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
