Job Summary:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor (TCL).
The physician's duties and responsibilities will include:
- The provision of clinical, academic and research related services within the Department. Clinically, the physician will be accountable for providing services on an inpatient and ambulatory care basis during a forty (40) hour work week and provide the proper supervision of the Residents in the Labor and Delivery Suite during two sixteen-hour weekday on-call sessions and one twenty-four hours weekend on-call session on a monthly basis.
- Academically, the physician will be accountable for teaching and lecturing to the Residents and medical students within the Department. The physician will also be required to participate in the Department lecture series, teaching rounds and other assigned academic tasks. From a research perspective, the physician will be accountable for being actively involved in the Department.
Required Qualifications:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a New York State Licensure to practice medicine.
