In March 2026 Unilever announced the Unilever announced the combination of the Unilever Foods with McCormick with a target completion date of mid-2027. This role is primarily responsible for assisting the carve out financial statements process for the Foods business, including preparation, review, audit, controls and project management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation and review to ensure that the financial statements are accurate, timely, consistent and a fair presentation of performance and corporate actions. This also include assisting countries in preparation of the results and reviewing them.
Preparation of reporting instructions and guidance to countries on the accounting policies, responding to accounting and reporting queries etc
Provision/extraction of data and information required for the preparation of carve out FS
Follow up with countries and other stakeholders to ensure timely availability of key deliverables
Assist in executing other tasks in relation to the projects
Support the audit process, ensure compliance to controls
Closely work with Big 4 consultant to ensure accurate and timely preparation of the financial statements
Key Stakeholders:
Internal: Project Apollo team, GCAD Expertise team, Controls team, Country Controlling teams and RTR Operating Centers. Global functions (Global Performance Management, Investor Relations, Corporate Tax, Corporate Pension). Information & Analytics teams, IT teams, Global RTR Process Excellence, Other Unilever teams if required (adhoc basis).
External: KPMG, Third party providers (adhoc basis).
ALL ABOUT YOU:
Proven and strong track record in finance function
Experience of financial accounting / reporting / Controlling (preferable)
Professional accounting/finance qualification
Ability to meet rigorous reporting requirements and timelines;
SAP / BCS / ifinance – Preferred.

Location
In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London. This site will house some employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars together with colleagues who are currently located in Lever House in Kingston. We are excited to be creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment. The campus is due to be completed in 2026.

Recruitment Fraud
Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
