Your Role
The Strategic Planning and Performance team plays a critical role in driving both strategic initiatives and operational excellence across the organization. We focus on aligning projects with business priorities, ensuring transparency, and delivering measurable outcomes. The Product Owner, Principal will report to the Director, Strategic Planning and Performance. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that technology-driven initiatives and product deliveries align with organizational strategy and business priorities. This role combines Product management (defining requirements and roadmap) with project delivery oversight (planning, execution and governance). Product Owner, Principal will closely work with business, engineering and IT teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective and scalable technology solutions that support provider transformation and network management goals.

Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Develop new product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product design that reflect business and user needs
Conduct research and develop a strong understanding of the business' needs, new technologies, technology trends and competitors
Drive advanced, complex technical product(s) and business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge
Invest in product process improvements, utilizing data and organizational strategies to foster and influence change
Serve as an advocate of product team to Senior Leadership and provides consultation to other product managers
Lead execution of workstreams and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives and strategy goals
Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment, launch and business adoption
Manage and monitor project budgets, resources, and costs to ensure financial efficiency
Partner with Enterprise Architects and solution delivery leads to design AI driven capabilities, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical product delivery, budget oversight, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience
Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
May have a deep knowledge of product management
Requires ability to partner with architects, engineering, analytics, and business leaders to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and strategy.
Requires strong understanding of cloud concepts and platform capabilities, and how cloud services support scalable, secure product solutions.
Requires expertise in identifying technical risks, managing cross‑team dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of complex, multi‑system initiatives.
- Desired: Experience performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) and shaping AI use cases that translate data insights into actionable product opportunities.
Desired: Experience collaborating with data science and engineering teams to translate AI models into practical, user‑centric product features.
Desired: Project Management Professional and/or Lean Six Sigma certification

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.
Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
