Purpose:

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will also assist with general cleaning tasks, maintain dishwashing equipment, and ensure the kitchen is organized and safe. Your work is crucial for the smooth operation of a Skilled Nursing Facility kitchen. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Dishwashers use dishwashers and/or wash by hand to clean all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. 

- Keep the dishwashing area free of clutter, ensuring floors are dry, and maintaining cleanliness in storage areas. 

- Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring dishwashers are functioning properly, reporting any issues, and maintaining proper water temperatures for sanitation. 

- Dishwashers may help with basic food preparation, stocking serving stations, working the serving line, running carts and assisting other kitchen staff as needed. 

- Dishwashers adhere to all sanitation guidelines, maintain a safe work environment, and follow procedures for waste disposal and recycling.
