Job Description

Mission:

The Senior Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring excellence in food safety, cleanliness, and product quality by leading systems, driving accountability, and developing Back of House (BOH) team members. This role protects the brand by delivering consistent, safe, and high-quality food experiences for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Food Safety & Quality Systems

  • Ensure full compliance with SAFE Daily Assessments, QIV, and eROA standards
  • Maintain and uphold Pathway procedures for food preparation and handling
  • Lead food safety audits and follow-up action plans

Inventory & Cost Management

  • Oversee truck orders, inventory accuracy, and product organization
  • Monitor Food & Beverage reports weekly and maintain a gap of ≤ 0.7%
  • Identify and address waste, variance, and inefficiencies

BOH Operations Excellence

  • Champion cleanliness and organization across all BOH stations
  • Ensure adherence to opening, mid-shift, and closing cleaning routines
  • Maintain equipment care and readiness

Systems & Standardization

  • Drive uniformity in BOH systems, processes, and execution
  • Implement and sustain best practices across all shifts
  • Partner with leadership to close operational gaps

Data & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze CEM scores and identify trends impacting food quality and speed
  • Develop and execute action plans for improvement
  • Track progress and hold the team accountable to results

Leadership & Team Development

  • Train, coach, and develop BOH leaders and team members
  • Hold the team accountable to Chick-fil-A standards with care and clarity
  • Build a culture of ownership, urgency, and excellence

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment (QSR preferred)
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures
  • Proven ability to manage systems, processes, and accountability
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make operational decisions
  • Strong communication and coaching ability
