USG SaaS, Inc - An Emerging Technology Software Development and Software as a Service (SaaS) Company.

We're seeking summer 2022 interns interested in gaining real-world experience in a rapidly growing emerging tech small business.

Working from our Reston Station headquarters (on the metro-line), you'll be directly involved in financial analysis, SWOT/competition analysis, technology development roadmap for product development, pitchbook marketing materials, online content generation, and other key areas.

Working with executive leadership, put your degree to work. Don't worry, you won't be getting coffee, you'll be learning while doing.

Roles will vary based on interest and skillsets. Some examples include;

Marketing: - generating media, content, sales strategies

• Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
• Performing market analysis and research on competition
• Supporting the marketing needs in project campaigns
• Generating print, online, and media based content

Financial Analysis - models and forecasts:

• Developing financial models, which support forecasting and planning.
• Cashflow analysis, AP/AR, Quickbooks, Invoicing
• Identifying trends and variances from the data.
• Collecting data needed for financial analysis.
• Composing recommendations for managers and executives.
• Collecting data for financial analysis.
• Identifying assumptions and alternative models scenarios

Investment Banking – raising capital:

• Developing financial models to value equity and debt for capital-raising requirements and growth strategies
• Analyzing competitor market trends in a very nascent emerging marketing
• Assisting in the research of industries and companies.
• Arranging meetings and creating presentations.
• Assisting the development and relationships with new or existing clients.

Accounting – company’s transactions, financial reports at the end of each term:

• Analyzing accounting options and afterward recommending financial actions.
• Preparing financial reports by collecting and analyzing information.
• Managing expenses by forecasting and budgeting.
• Assisting in the posts of daily journal entries.
• Following internal controls and thus maintaining financial security.
• Internal auditing and process flow to maximize effectiveness
• Examining documentation, reports, operating practices, records to ensure the established internal control.

Job brief

We are looking for a enthusiastic interns to join our team and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You'll have administrative duties in developing and implementing growth strategies.

As a intern, you will collaborate with our executive leadership in finalizing our aggressive expansion from a small business to a high growth tech firm. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels, financial models, and product roadmap for tech development.

This internship will help you acquire real world skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing/finance/prod development strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in the tech industry and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
• Prepare promotional presentations
• Help distribute marketing materials
• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
• Help organize marketing events

Requirements and skills

• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
• Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
