Job Description

We are looking for a Infrastructure Platform Lead who will lead infrastructure deployments, coordinate cross-team technical execution, and ensure high-quality delivery across on-prem and cloud environments.

In this role you will…

  • Lead infrastructure implementation and deployment activities across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring seamless execution across multiple technical teams.
  • Coordinate dependencies between infrastructure, application support,  security, and client-facing teams using Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Assist in preparing and documenting infrastructure requirements, specifications, and designs
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify infrastructure requirements.
  • Ensure automation, monitoring, and best practices are used throughout the product lifecycle (e.g., NewRelic, Ansible, Terraform, etc).
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, and manage Kanban, Jira, and backlog workflows.
  • Oversee infrastructure test strategy, planning, and execution to ensure alignment with expected SLAs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the team
  • Participate in 3rd level production support for critical escalations

 

Why you are the person we’re looking for…

You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:

  • Lead infrastructure-focused initiatives across diverse environments, including on-prem and cloud.
  • Collaborate effectively across infrastructure, application support, security, and operational teams.
  • Coordinate and resolve complex technical incidents by identifying root causes and applying structured problem-solving.
  • Utilize automation and observability tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Sonar, or NewRelic to improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience with relational databases and how to integrate them into infrastructure solutions (Oracle preferred).
  • Experience with Azure, AKS, Kafka, hypervisors (i.e. AHV, VMWare, Hyper-V), Firewall solutions (i.e. Fortinet), Load balancers (i.e. F5)
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Part of the team to participate in 24 x 7 on-call support

 

The following is not required but will be a bonus:

  • Scrum Master Certification or MS Azure Certification

 

Fundserv will cover the costs of maintaining the above certifications.

 

Starting base salary range: $120,000-$140,000/year
