    Recruiting for Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year
     

    At Helena Public schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a Occupational Therapist, you contribute to this mission by evaluating students to determine their functional levels and identify special needs. You will work as part of a team that serves 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena.  Starting salary is $61,632-$70,833.  This position will work during the normal school year.

    Some of what you will do: 

    •  Implementation to meet the IEP goals; Program planning and management
    • Provide training to the appropriate persons to carry over therapy goals in the school setting.


    Who we are looking for: 
    To become part of this dedicated team, you have a Montana Occupational Therapist license at the time of employment.
    The ideal candidate will possess Certification by National Registration Exam.
    Successful candidates  are regularly required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
