Job Description

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of Executive Director II of Learning Support Services (LSS), the High School Principal serves as the educational leader and chief executive of the school, to be responsible for the direction of the instructional program, operation of the school plan, participation in staff and student activities, and community leadership.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience:
• At least three (3) years of administrative experience (principal experience preferred) and five (5) years of successful teaching experience.
Education:
• A minimum of a Master's Degree and a California Administrative Credential.
Required Documents:
• Current Resume
• Letter of Intent (addressed to Melissa Griffith, Associate Superintendent, Personnel Support Services)
• Copy of California Administrative Credential
• Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months (it is recommended that at least one (1) come from an immediate supervising administrator).

Salary Info

Range 25 on the Management Salary Schedule
