Position: Multilingual (ML) Teacher
Location: Prairie Crossing Elementary
School Year: 2026�2027

Position Summary:
Benton Community School Corporation is accepting applications for a Multilingual (ML) Teacher at Prairie Crossing Elementary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide push-in instructional support for English Learners and utilize pull-out methods when appropriate to best meet their educational needs.
• Co-plan and co-teach with classroom teachers
• Support implementation of SIOP instructional strategies
• Collaborate with district ML staff
• Assist with student screening and WIDA assessments
• Coordinate ML instructional aides
• Support family communication and engagement
• Participate in required professional development

Program Notes:
The selected candidate will work in collaboration with the district Teacher of Record during the 2026�2027 school year. Beginning in the 2027�2028 school year, the ML Teacher will assume Teacher of Record responsibilities, including compliance and ILP oversight.

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license required
• EL/ML certification preferred or willingness to obtain
