Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary

Loenbro Pipeline is looking to hire experienced heavy equipment operators. The operator position will be responsible for completing pipeline-based projects.  Qualified local applicants and PEC certificate holders are preferred.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Daily inspection of equipment
  • Light maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Operation of a variety of heavy equipment
  • Daily Reporting
  • Actively participate in company safety culture
  • Safely perform labor tasks assigned by supervisor
  • Safely operate assigned equipment
  • Work diligently on assigned tasks
  • Notify supervisor in a timely manner of any job related issues, incidents or accidents
  • Work in collaboratively with supervisor and fellow employees
  • Report any equipment abnormalities to the supervisor immediately
  • Accurately report daily hours worked to supervisor

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations for construction sites
  • Thorough understanding of the safe and proper operation of Heavy Equipment.
  • Experience with track hoe, dozer and blade operators

Preferred:

  • Experience working on pipeline-specific sites preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Active outdoor construction sites
  • Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day
  • Standing
  • Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
  • Use of respirator if position requires
  • Driving if required to travel

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
