Kennedy Jenks is seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven Civil Engineer with a focus on water and wastewater projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of conveyance facilities, utility infrastructure, and treatment process improvement projects in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare designs, specifications, drawings, and calculations, with support from senior engineers. Assists the Project Manager where needed.
- Provide technical expertise to multidisciplinary project teams.
- Write technical reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Support project management efforts from conception to construction; lead small projects and attend internal and external meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
- 6+ years of civil engineering experience; water/wastewater focus preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is required.
- Experience with site design (layout, grading, drainage) and water/wastewater piping design preferred.
- Knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, and pipeline/yard piping design; ability to grow technical expertise.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $110,000 to $153,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
