Job Description

Job Title: Hourly Production Worker 

Location: North Platte, Nebraska

Position Type: Full-Time

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Hourly Production Workers. In this role, you will assist in various tasks involved in the production of beef products, ensuring that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Please note that the work is highly repetitive and requires consistent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cutting, trimming, and fabrication of beef products according to company standards and specifications.
  • Safely operate equipment and follow safety protocols.
  • Keep the work area clean and meet hygiene standards.
  • Work with team members in departments such as Fabrication, Harvest, and Shipping to meet production goals.
  • Inspect products for quality and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Participate in training programs to improve skills.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Departments Supported:

  • Fabrication
  • Harvest

Qualifications:

  •  High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or processing plant is strongly preferred.
  •  Strong understanding of harvest/fabrication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a team and across multiple departments.
  • Participate in training programs to improve skills.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Functional Requirements:

  • Use sharp instruments safely.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently throughout the shift.
  • Lift, push, and pull products in hot and/or cold environment
