HS Girls Head Basketball Coach / Athletic Coordinator

PRIMARY PURPOSE

 

Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in assigned sports.  Contribute to education programs as a whole and to the growth of students involved in athletics.  Coordinate and lead the high school girls' athletic program in coordination with the athletic director, principal and superintendent.

 

 

 

This position will be a dual assignment as a Girls Athletic Coordinator and Head Basketball Coach. 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

-         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

-         Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements

-         Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

-         General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

-         Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

-         Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

-         CDL School Bus license, or ability to complete this summer
