馃Л About the Role

As a Title Assistant, you鈥檒l serve as a member of our title operations team鈥攈elping with complex transactions, and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

馃攳 What You鈥檒l Do

  • Review and interpret a wide range of title documents (deeds, liens, easements, judgments).
  • Collaborate with Title Officers to resolve title defects and ensure data accuracy.
  • Work in company title plant and County records, searching for documents and producing title chains.
  • Analyze escrow and lender instructions and ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Prepare and record documents with county clerks.
  • Produce accurate title reports, commitments, and final policies.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues.
  • Train and mentor junior title assistants for senior title assistant position.
  • Support posting, locator duties, and property inspections as needed.
  • Drive process improvements and share best practices across the team.

馃 What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in a title assistant or related role.
  • Prior experience in the real estate industry
  • At least 2 years managing complex title transactions for a senior title assistant position.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title software/databases.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities for senior title assistant position.
