Job Description
Overview

Analyze market dynamics, historical data and pricing trends in order to develop reports, pricing levels and bid responses to identify asset and non-asset intermodal. The purpose of a Pricing Analyst is to establish, maintain and analyze price reference information and to make recommendations to the Sales and Operations teams.  is to establish, maintain and analyze price reference information and to make recommendations to the Sales and Operations teams.

 

This role will be an in office position 5 days a week.


Responsibilities

  • Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for Management.
  • Manage bid process from receipt through internal tender through submission.
  • Coordinate proposal development and submission with the Sales and Operations teams.
  • Engage with Operations to provide market rate data to help formulate pricing levels.
  • Provide project support and analysis to program managers.
  • Download and analyze 3rd party price information and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies.
  • Perform quarterly analysis of existing transactional level data to identify winning strategies and levels of bid response by Operational personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including ad hoc analysis on methods to optimize pricing through market and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree Finance or Business preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft excel
  • Computer applications using MS Office.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $51,448.80 - $68,598.40.  This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%.  NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
