Housekeeper Responsibilities
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the facility, including:
Cleaning resident rooms and common areas
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety in assigned areas
Ensuring housekeeping equipment is clean and in proper working condition
Removing trash and soiled linens (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
Learning and operating commercial laundry equipment
Working collaboratively with other housekeeping team members
Demonstrating a strong work ethic with attention to quality and customer service
Maintaining a positive, caring attitude and acting in the best interest of patients
Reporting any areas in need of repair to a supervisor
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in cleaning with strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow a schedule
Flexible availability; may be required to work varied schedules
Healthcare or commercial laundry experience: preferred
Healthcare or commercial housekeeping experience: preferred
