About the Role
As Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee and manage the delivery of high-quality nursing services, ensuring the best outcomes for our residents. You will lead by example, promote a culture of accountability, and inspire a strong, collaborative nursing team. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume operational leadership of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour supervision of the Nursing Department to ensure quality standards of care are met.
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans in line with physician orders and residents’ needs.
Interpret and communicate policies and procedures to nursing staff and ensure proper implementation.
Participate in resident admissions and may conduct visits with prospective residents.
Attend daily and weekly leadership meetings to review census, resident concerns, staffing, and more.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility standards and regulations.
Other duties as assigned, based on facility needs.
What We’re Looking For
Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term or acute care (preferred).
At least 2 years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience (required).
Strong track record of successful survey outcomes.
