About the Role
As Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee and manage the delivery of high-quality nursing services, ensuring the best outcomes for our residents. You will lead by example, promote a culture of accountability, and inspire a strong, collaborative nursing team. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume operational leadership of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour supervision of the Nursing Department to ensure quality standards of care are met.

  • Develop and coordinate individualized care plans in line with physician orders and residents’ needs.

  • Interpret and communicate policies and procedures to nursing staff and ensure proper implementation.

  • Participate in resident admissions and may conduct visits with prospective residents.

  • Attend daily and weekly leadership meetings to review census, resident concerns, staffing, and more.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility standards and regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned, based on facility needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current, active RN license in the state of practice.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term or acute care (preferred).

  • At least 2 years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience (required).

  • Strong track record of successful survey outcomes.
