    Job Responsibilities:

    The district is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant 7th Grade Football Coach to lead and mentor student-athletes. The assistant coach will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, promoting skill development, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all players.

     

    Stipend: $2126 (2026-27 school year)

     

    Start Date:  August 2026

     

    Qualifications for this position:

    • Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license. 

       

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement effective practice plans that enhance skill development and teamwork.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, supporting their academic and personal growth.
    • Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the field/court.
    • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all team members.
    • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and families to support student success.
    • Follow all district, state, and league regulations and policies.
    • Coordinate game schedules, travel arrangements, and equipment needs.
