Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: John-Wesley Villas, Macon GA

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11 PM

Job Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities and ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. This role requires compassion, patience, and a commitment to improving the lives of seniors.


John-Wesley Villas supports professional growth and offers qualified CNAs the opportunity to complete on-site training to advance into a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide mobility assistance as needed.
  • Assist residents with meal preparation
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ health and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Georgia.
  • Previous experience in a senior living community preferred.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks associated with resident care.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
