Job Responsibilities




  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and feeding

  • Spanish Speaking

  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility (including use of assistive devices)

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying

  • Prepare simple meals and assist with grocery shopping or errands as needed

  • Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments or community outings when appropriate

  • Observe and report changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition to the supervisor

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in the client's home

  • Follow care plan instructions and health/safety protocols

  • Respond promptly and responsibly in emergency situations



 


Qualifications




  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in caregiving, home healthcare, hospitality, or a related field preferred

  • Certification as a CNA or HHA preferred but not required

  • Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs and perform essential job functions

  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required

  • Strong communication and time-management skills

  • Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor

  • Willingness to adhere to health, safety, and infection control standards



 



Schedule: M-F Afternoon Shifts and Weekend Shifts Available
