Eziway Software Solutions is a fast-growing software development company looking to hire a Software Tester to join our dynamic and fast-paced development team as we scale-up.
We’re looking for a new team member who is passionate about taking their craft as a tester to support the transition of our existing software to ASP.NET MVC technology.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, you are able to pivot between work streams; you can evaluate and test software applications to ensure they function correctly and are able to identify and buys or issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Executing tests on different features and functionalities of the software to identify defects.
- Documenting discovered bugs and issues with details like steps to reproduce, expected behaviour, and actual behaviour.
- Creating test scenarios and cases to cover various scenarios and use cases.
- Verifying that fixes applied to one area of the software don’t introduce new problems in other areas.
- Communicating identified issues to developers clearly and effectively to facilitate bug fixes.
- Evaluating how user-friendly the software is and identifying potential navigation or interaction issues.
- Assessing the software’s speed, responsiveness, and stability under different load conditions.
- Respond, review and deploy any reported application bugs
- Liaise directly with Project Leads to address hot fix bugs following application testing
- Analyse and report any process improvements identified during the testing phase
- Establish relationships with customers, serving as a liaison point to ensure clear understanding of business needs, objectives, and requirements
- Workshop with key stakeholders to determine a common understanding of Business and System requirements and scope of project or task work
- Prepare documentation such as system operational procedures, user guides, process maps, data flow diagrams, requirements documents and functional specifications
- Identify, track and report on BA activity status, risks, and issues
- Analyse and document business/functional processes and System requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools
Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of issues
- Strong attention to detail to catch subtle errors
- Good communication skills to report bugs accurately
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
