Park & Recreation - Groundskeeping Internship
Salary Range: $13.50 per hour
Hours will vary but not to exceed 30 hours per week
May include: weekday, weekends and events
This position will perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, groundskeeping and improvement of City facilities and open spaces; works to ensure safe and clean parks and complexes for public use.
Physical Requirements: Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth and ability to adjust focus. Physical: frequent standing, sitting, walking, using hands to operate tools or controls, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, and crawling. Lifting: up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 occasionally. Environmental: dogs and other animals, extreme heat and cold, moving mechanical parts, fumes, odors, chemicals, loud noises
