Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck or van, following all safety procedures per company policy
- Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
- Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Provide quality customer service
- Pull product, load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties
- Back up other drivers routes when needed
- Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate action
- Operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT medical card
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis
- Forklift experience is highly preferred
- Work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of satisfactory driving experience, preferably with box trucks
