Job Description

Shift: Wednesday & Thursday 3pm-11:30pm

Pay: $21.50/hr. (2nd shift differential of $1/hr., weekend differential of $5/hr. and bilingual differential of $1.45/hr.)

What You’ll Do:

As a counselor at the crisis stabilization unit, you will help provide services and comfort for the adult mental health population in Western Mass as they work to meet program goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview, observe and document skills to plan and implement treatment services
  • Gain exposure to opportunities that promote learning and growth within your position.
  • Ability to work as a team member and establish rapport with individuals, family and collateral providers.
  • Individuals served are provided a range of services including assessments, groups, and one-on-one counseling.
  • Supervision and training is provided as a regular part of the counselor positions

Who You Are:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • BA Degree required or equivalent experience in behavioral health setting
  • 1 year of experience in Human Services Field
  • Knowledge of and high motivation to work with behavioral health population
  • Excellent organizational skills
