Medical Director Veterinarian – Lead with Excellence!

Are you a passionate veterinarian ready to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Director to join our team and help shape the future of veterinary care at our Centretown Animal  Hospital. 

As Medical Director, you’ll set the standard for medical excellence, mentor a talented veterinary team, and collaborate with leadership to ensure the success of the hospital. This is more than a clinical role it’s a chance to inspire, guide, and elevate the level of care we provide to our patients and clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional medical care
  • Develop and implement medical protocols and best practices
  • Oversee surgical and medical cases to ensure positive outcomes and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the hospital manager on operational strategies and growth initiatives
  • Participate in community events and foster strong client relationships
  • Provide hands-on veterinary care, including consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning

What You’ll Need to Excel

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, licensed in Ontario
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to delivering the highest standard of veterinary medicine
